We seriously love how Joey Bada$$ called out how awful New York radio is while the Brooklyn rapper was a guest on one station’s popular morning show (skip to about the 25-minute mark). But we also love how his socially conscious new album All Amerikkkan Badass seems to ignore the increasing ubiquity of trap-style production. Seeing as how a big part of how we pick music at Satori is to give a chance to the artists and songs that New Yorkers dig now and not in a few months after they “research”, maybe he’ll think we’re cool.
