The Weeknd had a good run with H&M. The Canadian singer collaborated with H&M 2017 to give his XO brand more exposure but that recently came to an end after a racial ad. H&M put a picture of a black child wearing a green hooded sweater that read “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle”and The Weeknd instantly went on instagram to cut ties. The clothing company later removed the image from the website and did apologize for the mistake saying, “We will thoroughly investigate why this happened to prevent this type of mistake from happening again.”
